Nestled on the river’s edge and surrounded by beautiful woods the three minimal structures of the house were placed to create private and cozy outdoor hangouts that are sheltered from the elements.
Steel-gray granite white stucco timber slats and wooden battens shape the distinct façade of this Indian home along with the generous use of glass. Completely opening up to the greenery that surrounds it the overall form of the house mimics that of a multilevel gallery.
Promoting interaction between family members and offering ample space for hosting friends and family the design and layout ensure that there is never a dull moment at the James River House.
